Dinner @ PJ's and Carrie's

Carrie and I have started a ministry for your teenager called "Dinner at PJ & Carrie's. The purpose of this ministry is to get to know your teen on an individual basis, with the hope to better minister to them down the road. Therefore, to accomplish this goal, we are inviting your teen and their Crave Group over to our house before an upcoming Wednesday youth group.

Project : Team Ireland

Since I have arrived here as your new youth pastor, I have been burdened by the Lord to "team up" somehow with Team Ireland. After praying about it, I thought what if we "adopted" Pastor Mark and Andrea as our missionaries? What if we (as a youth group) supported Team Ireland prayerfully and financially? So here is the basic concept I presented to our youth group a few weeks ago. I am asking each teen in our youth ministry to do 2 things. Each month I am asking them to first PRAY for the Jones family and second I am asking them to give $1 A MONTH (above their regular tithe). This money will be collected monthly and sent through ABWE to the Jones' for them to use specifically for their family needs. I believe this will be a simple yet practical way we can support missions and encourage the Joneses. Would you please encourage your teen to participate in this ministry?
